Our Mission
DiscoverScholars.org is a public charity that seeks to award scholarships to the types of students who donors wish to support. Unlike colleges, universities, or other educational foundations, we let donors specify student attributes they care about with their donations.
Our emphasis on transparency and donor choice distinguishes DiscoverScholars.org from our competition for charitable dollars.
How Does It Work?
- Choose the set of students you want to support:
- Chemistry majors?
- 4.0 GPAs?
- Varsity athletes?
- Massachusetts residents?
- Debate team members?
- Any combination you wish!
- Make a generous donation.
- DiscoverScholars.org will award your contribution to worthy students who meet the criteria you value.

- Join our Facebook group, or one on another social networking site.
- Share our plan with others and ask them to join or contribute.
- Contribute to help us pay for our necessary start-up costs.
